Sansevieria is an extraordinary, beautiful perennial plant and one of the easiest potted plants to care for.
**LIGHT:** Light is not critical—Sansevieria tolerates bright light, partial shade, and even full shade. However, avoid direct sunlight, as leaves may get scorched.
**TEMPERATURE:** In summer, the temperature should be 18–25 °C, and in winter, 14–16 °C.
**HUMIDITY:** Sansevieria tolerates the dry air typical of our homes well, so it does not require misting.
**WATERING:** Sansevieria dislikes overwatering; watering should be moderate and only after the soil has completely dried out. Water once a week in summer and once every 21 days in winter.
**SOIL:** Requires well-draining soil containing expanded clay or sand. Special succulent soil can also be suitable.
